Alicia Paulino-Grisham

Alicia Paulino-Grisham is a founding partner of DI Law Group and concentrates her practice on representing claimants in private and group disability insurance claims, as well as life and long-term care insurance matters.  Ms. Paulino-Grisham has extensive experience in aggressively fighting for the rights of her clients at all stages in their insurance claims, including pre-litigation claim resolution, state and federal litigation, and appellate practice.  She has written numerous articles on both private and ERISA disability insurance claims.  Ms. Paulino-Grisham has been featured on Good Morning America for her representation of clients in complex ERISA disability insurance matters, her successful work in obtaining life insurance benefits for a frustrated family, and again for championing an amendment to the federal statute, ERISA that will provide claimants with more protection and hold insurance companies accountable for egregious delay and denial tactics.  She has also been interviewed by WPEC local news, the Palm Beach Post, and the Orlando Sentinel regarding disability insurance claims.  Ms. Paulino-Grisham has been a guest speaker for numerous advocacy groups on the subject of insurance benefit claims and litigation, including the Eighth International Conference on Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia.

Alicia Paulino-Grisham is a member of the Florida Bar Association and is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the Southern and Middle District Courts of Florida.  She is a member of the South Palm Beach Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, a Board Member of the Lantana Chamber of Commerce, and a member of Group for Equitable ERISA Remedies (GEER), a group dedicated to advocating changes in the law in order to improve the rights of claimants. 

Prior to founding DI Law Group Ms. Paulino-Grisham worked at a national law firm in which she focused on both private and group insurance matters and headed ERISA litigation for the firm.  Ms. Paulino-Grisham earned her Juris Doctorate at St. Thomas University School of Law, graduated cum laude, received numerous academic scholarships and awards, worked on Law Review, was the president of Moot Court, a member of the Mock Trial Team, and was a member of the Judge Peter Faye Honors Society.  Ms. Paulino-Grisham attended undergraduate school at Florida Atlantic University and graduated suma cum laude.
