Disability Insurance Law Group Walks For Eating Disorders Awareness

February is Eating Disorders Awareness Month, and Disability Insurance Law Group once again proudly sponsored and participated in The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness celebrating everybody walk. The 5th annual walk was held at Sunset Cover Amphitheater South County Regional Park in Boca Raton, to raise awareness and education of eating disorders, and to spread the message of hope and recovery.

All money raised from the annual celebrating everybody walk is to help prevent eating disorders and reduce the shame and stigma associated with them by using 100 percent of the funds to produce, print and ship the Florida Eating Disorders Referral Guide. Currently, more than 15,000 printed copies are provided annually to schools, hospitals, treatment centers, mental health facilities, legislative offices, community agencies and individual practitioners.
