Partner Alicia Paulino-Grisham Conducts Webinar On Navigating Insurance Coverage Sponsored By The Renfrew Center

Disability Insurance Law Group Founding Partner, Alicia Paulino-Grisham was a featured guest for the webinar “Learn to Navigate Insurance Coverage and Exercise Your Rights,” as a part of The Renfrew Center’s 2015 Webinar Series. Ms. Paulino-Grisham presented with distinguished co-guest, Johanna Kandel, founder of The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness, and facilitator Lara C.C. Pence, MBA, PsyD, CEDS of The Renfrew Center. The webinar focused on helping viewers learn how to navigate the complexity of insurance coverage and exercise rights to patient care, with a focus on eating disorder treatment where knowledge is critical to making treatment and recovery more attainable. The discussion included what an individual needs to know to advocate for herself or her loved one, as well as how to use an individual voice to maximize insurance coverage. Ms. Paulino-Grisham has extensive experience in aggressively fighting for the rights of her clients at all stages in their private and group insurance claims, and representing numerous individuals wrongfully denied health insurance coverage for eating disorder treatment. She also serves as a member of the board of directors of The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness.
